It’s so easy:

1. Fill the base with water – up to 1mm below the safety valve
2. Insert the filter and fill with ground coffee (do not press)
3. Screw the jug firmly onto the base and close the lid Boil water over medium heat – the finished espresso flows through the riser into the pan
